Frank Abagnale, Jr. is a boy on the run. After bolting from his fracturing family, sixteen-year-old Frank forges millions of dollars in checks, successfully impersonates a doctor, a lawyer, and an airline pilot, and lives a wildly lavish lifestyle on the whims of his teenage fancy. But when Frank falls in love, he throws away his own rulebook, and with FBI agent Carl Hanratty on his heels, there’s no turning back — only running forward — and fast. Based on the wildly popular 2002 film and the true story that inspired it, Catch Me If You Can is a swinging spectacle of a musical, with a 60s jazz score from the writers of Hairspray and one show-stopping number after another.
